This module uses state of the art OCR, segmentation and indexing technologies, allows readers to search across every word in a document repository (generated from scanned pages or microfilms, or directly from the PDFs).
MediaCore gives the user advanced search capabilities (including language stemming, phonetic search and relevancy weighting), and provides immediate interactive text highlighting and an intuitive zoom reader. The reader can select assets for inclusion in a ‘favourites’ workbench for collaboration purposes. Individual pages or complete editions can be sold as digital downloads or as hardcopy reprints. A reduced ‘teaser’ functionality can be provided to non-subscribers to encourage them to purchase a subscription. The printing of both photos and pages can be fulfilled by any independent specialist provider.
