A module which allows hosting and administering of a stand alone, on-demand, video management system (VMS) for the delivery of online video or ‘Web TV’, backing by a global content delivery network (CDN) supporting video streaming.
MediaCore's public interface can be completely customised to the organisation’s own style and branding and includes MediaCore's powerful search functions. It can be deployed as a portal, supporting multiple divisions. Video assets can be grouped into ‘Events’, associated with one or more division and tagged to accommodate ‘channels’ such as News, Sport, Current Affairs, etc. These can also populate XML feeds to external systems.
The online video player incorporates rich social media engagement mechanisms, allowing readers to comment, rate and share video assets and supports many standard advertising plug-ins. Each video can have ‘Associated Content’, such as powerpoint presentations or any other type of document relating to the video.
