A flexible, event-based module that enables scheduling of events or assignments, assigning photographers, importing of digital assets from those events, and the capture of essential metadata for subsequent curation and routing.
MediaCore significantly improves internal workflows and allows immediate engagement with clients or internal staff in the production and transmission of assets. Designated users (including external clients) can review assets (a virtual contact sheet) and order images from events instantly and also access their entire job history. Assets can automatically be routed to multiple destinations with embedded (destination specific) metadata.
The combination of the two core modules - Archiving & Curation and Asset Capture & Routing - fulfils the essential requirements of a central Picture Desk system.
