MediaCore is a versatile, browser-based Digital Asset Management system that allows organisations to securely manage, share and commercialise their digital assets - multiple forms of rich media such as images, audio and video files, as well as documents (such as PDFs or scans).
MediaCore is built on a distributed, highly scalable architecture that can be cloud-based or stand alone, MediaCore can store millions of assets centrally and securely. It is specifically designed to manage rich media objects and their data, and has essential media-specific functionality such as repurposing, indexing and categorisation.
MediaCore is read/write compliant with international metadata standards (including Adobe XMP™ and IPTC), ensuring metadata consistency and preservation. Core services can be accessed using standard Internet protocols such as XML and REST, enabling seamless interoperability with other applications, devices, and services.
MediaCore is modular and highly configurable and can be quickly customised for specific business scenarios. All modules are governed by an encompassing Access Control layer, which manages user privileges and access control rights.
