Aetopia specialises in building functionally rich, scalable Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions for enterprise clients primarily in the Newspaper, Photo Agency and Archiving sectors. Key clients include some of the largest publishing companies in Europe, as well as major photographic agencies.
In 2010, 2011 and 2012 Aetopia was ranked by Deloitte Fast 50 as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Ireland.

Aidan McGrath CEO
Aidan is co-founder and CEO of Aetopia. He has "far too much" experience in the IT sector, in General Management, Consultancy (with Andersen Consulting) Marketing, Sales Management and Sales Training.
Mark Gowdy CTO
Mark is co-founder and CTO of Aetopia He has over 18 years experience in developing scalable web based applications.
Andrew Hunter Chairman
Andrew is the former managing partner of Accenture Ireland, and a former international managing partner in an industry vertical Market. Since leaving Accenture he has been part of three start up companies, and a start up non-profit. He plays an active role as a non-executive Director in Aetopia (since 2007) with particular interest in product development, customer delivery and Finance.
Frank Kerr Head of Product Development
Frank is the Head of Product Development at Aetopia. He was formerly a senior member of the product development teams of several highly successful local software companies. His wealth of experience spans the Financial, Government and Telecommunications sectors.
Stephen McAreavey Non-executive Director
Stephen is a Senior Director of Product Management at Kana Inc. Prior to Kana, he worked for London-based systems integrator Princeton Consulting, creating solutions for blue-chip clients in the UK and abroad.
